Custom investor presentation suite showcases mission-driven $600 million ETF platform
Designing a portfolio of investor materials fit for a platform of pioneering U.S. equity ETFs.
The Client
Engine No. 1 is an American alternative asset manager. They provide capital and operational guidance to industries undergoing fundamental transformation. For instance, the company focuses on decarbonization and the need to relocalize North American supply chains.
The firm gained prominence for its successful activist campaign at ExxonMobil. Ultimately, this initiative cemented Engine No. 1’s commitment to fostering value and sustainability.
The Project
Engine No. 1 partnered with our agency to develop a full suite of investor communication materials. We created investor decks, fact sheets, impact reports, and product briefs for its pioneering ‘Transform’ ETF platform. This platform manages more than $600 million in U.S. equity ETFs.
To achieve this, we collaborated closely with the head of each ETF product. This ensured the materials embodied each specific vision. At the same time, we rigorously maintained a unified, high-caliber design standard across the entire suite.
Furthermore, we navigated diverse datasets for each fund, from climate to supply chain strategies. We then applied bespoke data visualization techniques to articulate each platform’s unique value with exceptional clarity.
The Details
First, we used compelling data visualization to accentuate the measurable success of the company’s campaigns. This approach effectively translated complex achievements into easily digestible information.
In addition, we maintained a cohesive brand identity across all investor decks and fact sheets. This ensured consistent messaging and a unified professional image.
Using design thinking and UX principles, we also distilled complex investment concepts into clear, engaging visuals. As a result, this made intricate information more accessible to the target audience.
Finally, we developed nuanced design treatments tailored to specific products. This allowed us to effectively address the unique communication needs of both institutional and retail investors.
