In February 2024, B. Riley Securities announced its role as the exclusive financial advisor to GCT Semiconductor in its $667 million merger with Concord Acquisition Corp III. As a result of this merger, GCT received approximately $50 million in capital. This funding was crucial to finalize its 5G chipset development, expand into new markets, and capitalize on the global transition from 4G to 5G technology.
